I know that sometimes you will walk into a store and feel like you do not belong in there or perhaps feel uncomfortable because of the displays or adverts in the store. Which, usually depict an average body size which may not be your size.
Most sports shops accommodate mainly the average size which then eliminates certain individuals, leaving you defeated. I may not know if you are a plus size individual who is comfortable with their body or not.

Be it a plus size lady or gentleman as well as the average size lady or gentleman because I know you don’t have to be a plus size to need acceptance of one’s body. When I was growing up I hated my legs because of various reasons one was that as you grow your body develops some stretch marks in certain areas and that stressed me out a lot as a kid. Another reason was that since I played a few sports my body was masculine so my peers used to tease and say my legs look like I’m a guy in a soccer team.
That was not cool and it made me dislike my body to a certain degree. However, I slowly started accepting my body as I realized that no one Is perfect out there. We all have been perfected in our imperfections.
To date I have learned to accept everything about my body and everything about me as an individual. The message I want you to take home today is that we are fearfully and beautifully made. Never listen to people, who think your body is not beautiful or those who claim your body is not the required standard shape or size. In your eyes see yourself as a gem perfected in your imperfections.
There is however always room for improvement, which is why you probably visited this website. Gym is another way you can work on your overall weight, appearance as well as health. Remember to take it one step at a time and always set realistic and achievable goals.
